Just Because

As you can probably tell, I have been having a lot of time on the computer. This is due to the fact that we have writing everyday this week so that we can have foods all week next week. Next week we will be getting ready for our Christmas dinner here at school, so we need all week. Anyways, since I am done my article and my map, I really have nothing to do but to write continuously about nothing, on this thing. Usually I don't get too much time on the computer on home since either my brother, my mom or my dad are usually seated at it, and they aren't really doing anything, except maybe my brother. So that is why in the last couple of days I have written more than I have in a couple of weeks. There really isn't much else to do right now so I will just keep writing. Only about 15 minutes of class left until lunch time. I am really hungry. Class always seems to go by the slowest when you don't really have anything to do. Have you ever noticed that.
This is really weird, it just published my blog twice at the same time! Anyways......

Still cold, buses still aren't running. There are more people at school today than there were yesterday, however. Christmas is still getting closer as well as everybody's birthdays. I don't really have that much to say right now, I'm just really bored so I decided to try and write something. I wonder what other people are doing right now in, like France or Greece. It would be nice to go and visit some other countries right about now. Especially the hot ones. It would be absolutely awesome to be in Mexico or Hawaii right about now. Of course that's not about to happen anytime soon. Plus, it would be pretty weird to have a Christmas with palm trees and oceans instead of snow and Christmas trees. I wonder if they have Christmas trees in those kinds of countries. We only have 3 and a half weeks left of school before Christmas holidays, we don't get out until the 22. We get more time after Christmas than usual, however.

Cold..So Cold! This morning the temperature was down to minus 31 degrees at my house, I don't know what it is now. Because of this, the school buses are not running which makes our school seem deserted. There is probably only about 20 people here. Even worse is the fact that tomorrow it is supposed to get even colder. Then on Thursday the snow is supposed to start again. In Vancouver and on the island, there are a lot of schools closed because of this weather, I sort of wish that would happen here. Of course I will probably get my wish on the only day that I do not want it to come true, Friday. This is because we are supposed to be going to Kamloops to see the play, "Alice, A Wonderland," at the Sagebush theatre.
Hopefully, in December I will be able to go there again with my family for my cousins Christmas concert. She is in the Kamloops Children's choir, or what ever it is called. I don't know if we will be able to go though. I do have to get to Kamloops soon however since my Dad's birthday is in two days and my brother's is in 6. Everything seems so close together around this time of the year that December always goes by really fast.
Also, next Friday we have our annual Christmas banquet which, since I am in foods, I will be very busy that day and all of next week. That night grads are also having a skate with Santa thing at the rink and I get to be an elf. It should be interesting.

It is really cold out today. When I left my house this morning it was -24 degrees out. Of course it has been a lot colder in the past and probably will continue to get colder. All well, I guess that just means that Christmas is coming. On the other hand there is quite a few people travelling home today after the wedding this weekend, so it definitely is not the ideal weather for driving long distances. Luckily, it has stopped snowing and there isn't that much wind blowing it around. it's just really cold. We were all hoping for nice weather this weekend, it didn't happen.
My cousins' wedding was this weekend and it was a lot of fun, and really busy. On Friday we helped set up the hall and decorate and then we were invited to the rehearsal
dinner. Saturday was the actual wedding and the reception. Then yesterday was clean-up and gift opening. The wedding was really cool because it was a double wedding. That also means that there were 4 families attending the ceremonies. Of course the 2 brides are sisters so they reall y shared a family. Nevertheless, there was alot of us. It was really cool because I got to see alot of my family that I haven't seen for quite awhile. Also, I thought my family was large before they got married, but both of the grooms have really big families.

This weekend is my cousins' wedding. I am so excited to see my whole family. Hopefully the weather is nice on Saturday and Sunday, and Friday since that is when most people will be travelling. Did you realize that it is only a month and three days until Christmas. Of course it isn't the same now as when I was younger. It's still fun though. My whole family is also supposed to be coming at Christmas, I hope that involves my Grandparents, but I don't know. Last year's Christmas was fairly boring with only us and my Granpa and Lorna. But this year will be different, hopefully.

I am extremely bored. There is absolutely nothing to do. But tomorrow is Friday and I really happy about that. We are half way through the first semester but it really doesn't feel like it. Time always seems to go by really fast at this time of the year when it seems like it is going so slow. It still kind of feels like we just started school and we still have a whole year to go. But, we only have 3/4 of a year left. That seems kind of wierd to, just thinking about how in June we will be done high school. It's exciting but scary too.

Well there is a small change of plans. Instead of doing baton all weekend, I am going to go to Kamloops. My mom has to take my cousin my grandma's wedding dress since my cousins are getting married next Saturday. I say cousins because it is going to be a double wedding. So, since baton was cancelled and everyone else is out hunting, I'm going with my mom. Of course I still have baton tonight, which I am way too tired to go to and will probably end up hurting myself again because of it. Fortunatley on Tuesday my face was safe from the floor and Chrissy caught her half of the trick. I'm still throwing mine away, you know, since I am terrified of it still. It is however, getting closer a little bit at a time. Plus, the cartwheel is much easier without the batons in Chrissy's hand.

We are almost finished our cookbooks for grad. Only a few more title pages and maybe a couple more recipes and we are done. Of course they have to be ready by this weekend since we are selling them at the flea market. I also have to bake a cake and something else for the cake walk and the bake sale. I really don't feel like going to baton today or this weekend even though it is better now that we have our routines and will be finishing them on Saturday. We have to cut Lady Hawk down a few minutes on Sunday, that is going to be very interesting and difficult. All well, atleast we won't die quite so much every time we do that routine, it was so long. I wonder if we will have the same froo froo as last year. She said she was probably going to change it this year. Hopefully they are not making us go level A but we will still be going to Canadians.

Ow... My nose and knee hurts. Just when I was starting to get comfortable with our new pairs trick we get a crazy, and painful, new one. Yes I am talking about a toss partner cartwheel. And when this thing goes wrong it is definitely painful. This is especially true when you are the one doing the cartwheel where your face is the closest thing to the floor. I still can't believe that all I got was a tiny light bruise. Of course I also smacked my knee and bruised the bone. Still, it is alot easier than trying to do the trick while holding the baton. It's funny but I am not scared to the trick again.

This week seems to be quite peaceful. That may be due to the lack of grad fundraisers we are having, finally. Last week just seemed to be so busy. We are doing the cookbooks but atleast we're doing them in class. I found my grad dress on the weekend in Vancouver. It's pink! Next weekend we get to be insanely busy again. On Friday we have the spaghetti dinner, then Saturday is the Flea market and a baton workshop, and Sunday we have more baton.
So, this coming weekend I am going to tkae advantage of the nothingness and just sleep.
